"I have been working with Tensing since 1995. In that period I have helped the company grow to where we are now. My first annual Christmas dinner was with five people! I started as graduate student and have grown to work in a number of different functions afterwards: consultant, senior consultant and now I am the Manager Consultancy of the mobile solutions’ group. This is a combination of management tasks and projects. As a team leader I am responsible for resource planning as well as team moral and yearly reviews."

"I have been involved as a project leader in a number of mobility projects recently. I enjoy working with clients and working on the technicalities of implementations. As from the first day I started, I have kept myself busy with GPS positioning applications, vehicle tracking systems and mobility for police force, fire brigade, ambulance and transporters."

"Tensing always has special and exciting customers. Where else can you spend a day tracking the cyclists in the Tour de France race or visit the police emergency center to work with the latest equipment. The challenges at Tensing never cease…and that’s why it’s so exciting!"

"Moreover the work environment is relaxed and friendly. There is a good mix between formal and social interaction with colleagues. It’s been like this for 11 years and will continue. Our customers are important to us, but the staff is too. Outside working hours we go out regularly. On Friday especially we usually go to the city for a drink and a bite."

"After a couple of years Tensing has given me the flexibility to work 36 hours, so I have a day off every two weeks. That day gives me some extra time for sports. I play basketball, cycle and in the winter time you can catch me weekly in the skating rink."
